Boko Haram Attack: Yobe Deputy Gov Visits Victims In Hospital

Yobe State Deputy Governor, Hon. Idi Barde Gubana, has visited the state hospital to sympathise with victims attacked by Boko Haram while they were returning to Damaturu, the state capital.

The victims who sustained various degrees of injuries were immediately admitted to General Sani Abacha Specialist Hospital in Damaturu for treatment.

The Deputy Governor directed the Chief Medical Director (CMD) to pay full medical attention to the victims.

Barde Gubana appreciated the commitment of the medical personnel in the hospital for giving their adequate mobilization emergency support to the victims.

He then wished and prayed for a quick recovery for the victims.

He also commiserated with the family of the deceased police corporal who lost his life during the encounter.

The Deputy Governor was received and briefed by the CMD, Dr Usman Abba Geidam represented by the head of clinical services, Dr Mohammad Aji, who confirmed that the victims are responding to treatment.
