Boko Haram Terrorists Kill 4 Farmers In Borno

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have killed four farmers in Kirawa community of Gwoza local government area of Borno State.

A source from the community said the victims were engaged in agricultural activities when the terrorists launched their assault, killing the four of them.

The Councillor representing Kirawa Jimini Ward, who is also the speaker of the Gwoza local government council, Bukar Umar Aji, confirmed the incident to our correspondent.

Aji also solicited the support of the security operatives in providing adequate security to the farming community to enable them sustain their means of livelihood.

Chairman of Kirawa Development Association, Yakubu Mabba Ali, who spoke to our correspondent, said the attack on farmers will further compound the challenges faced by the communities that are rebuilding after years of insurgency.
