Boniface, Onyeka Make Bundesliga Team Of The Week

Nigerian stars Victor Boniface and Frank Onyeka have been included in the Bundesliga Team of the Week.

The Bundesliga best 11 was compiled and published on the X handle of whoscored.com.

Boniface was the standout performer for Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen in their 4-1 win away to Hoffenheim.

After setting up Leverkusen’s first goal scored in the 17th minute, Boniface then made it 2-0 in the 30th minute.

With 15 minutes left, Boniface grabbed his second goal to put Xabi Alonso’s men 4-1 ahead.

For Onyeka, he marked his debut for Augsburg with an assist in the club’s 3-1 win against St Pauli.

Onyeka set up Augsburg’s second goal in the 66th minute which put them 2-0 ahead.

The AFCON 2023 runners-up, joined Augsburg on loan from Brentford.
