BREAKING: INEC Declares Uzodimma Winner Of Imo Gov’ship With 540,308 Votes

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hope Uzodimma, as winner of the last Saturday’s governorship election, held in the state.

According to the INEC’s state collation and returning officer, Prof. Abayomi Fasina, he said that the candidate of the APC got 540,308 votes.

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Anyanwu, who came second in the exercise, polled a total votes of 71,503.

The governorship candidate of Labour Party (LP), Senator Athan Achonu, came third with the total number of 64,081 votes.
