The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria after its two-day meeting, has decided to retain the current the monetary stance retaining the MPR at 26.50 per cent, the asymmetric corridor around the MPR at +50bps/-450bps, the CRR for commercial banks at 45 per cent, and merchant banks at 16 per cent. it also retained the 75 per cent CRR on Non-TSA public sector deposits
