All Progressives Congress (APC) North West Progressive Forum has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to remove Alhaji Garba Sani Dankani as the board chairman of the National Ear Care Centre, Kaduna on grounds of his defection from the APC.

It said Dankani’s action was a sabotage against the development agenda of the present administration.

The call was contained in a statement jointly signed by Hon Jamilu Muhammed, and Dr Abdulrauf Abdullahi, the national vice president and secretary respectively.

The statement further revealed, “It is unfortunate that we have to come to this extent to show our grievances against Alhaji Garba Sani Dankani a former member of the All Progressives Congress who was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as Board Chairman of National Ear Care Centre Kaduna and has now join hands with other opposition parties members who are critics of Mr President’s policies and programmes.”
The statement further explained that Dankani decamped from APC to the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) and did not secure the ticket and moved to Action Alliance (AA) and got the ticket because they needed anyone irrespective of capacity to fill their seats and they got him.
The group further declared that the Electoral Act stated that all political appointees seeking election must resign before June 3rd 2022 when INEC expects that all issues of party primaries must have been resolved but in the case of Alhaji Garba Dankani he is still operating as the Board Chairman of National Ear Care Centre, Kaduna as an opposition political party member of Action Alliance.
