Secretary of the Tinubu Campaign Council, Hon James Faleke, said President Muhammadu Buhari’s success in the last eight years will be determined by who succeeds him.

Faleke stated this when he received the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Alliance For Democratic Governance and Emancipation of Nigeria (BADGE), who brought campaign materials including T-shirts, car stickers, fliers, banners, branded vehicles among campaign items,

Faleke said if Tinubu is not supported to win the 2023 presidential election, all of Buhari’s achievements will be destroyed by people who don’t value it.

The lawmaker, who appreciated the group for their efforts to deliver Tinubu and ensure he wins the next election, said BADGE is one of the few groups that came to the secretariat with their campaign materials.

“The success of every government is measured by who succeeds it. If we don’t work hard to ensure that Tinubu succeeds Buhari, all the success of this administration will be destroyed.

“If Tinubu wins, he will ensure that Buhari’s legacy is sustained. There will be improvement in Buhari’s achievement. Let us work together to achieve this. We are available at any time. Don’t be far away from us in this campaign because we are starting on 28 September, 2023 with interfaith prayers and a walk to the unity fountain.

Faleke who requested for five names from BADGE to be added into the Tinubu campaign council, said: While we are planning, on 28 September, 2022, we want to start with prayers and handover our journey to God and take a walk to unity fountain and call for the unity of this country.”

Director general of BADGE, who is also a former presidential aide, Ibrahim Yusuf Ibrahim, said Tinubu is a good man who should be supported to succeed Buhari.

“He developed Lagos and raised the standard of his people. We are supporting him to win the 2023 presidential polls so that jobs will be created in the country.

“Good governance is what we want and we are asking God to give Nigeria a leader that will bring Peace, unity and development. What we brought here today is just our support for Tinubu to succeed Buhari, “ Ibrahim said.

Also speaking, the publicity secretary of BADGE, Salisu Saminu Jibrin Madachi, said they want to campaign for Tinubu in all the nook and cranny of the country.

“We work for Buhari, Governors, Senators, Local Government chairmen and they emerged. One of the Local Government Chairman is our coordinator in Katsina.

“From polling units to ward to LGA to States and federal, we will ensure we deliver Tinubu that is why we have delivered the campaign materials, “ Madachi said.
