Governor of Yobe State Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of five additional special advisers.

This was contained in a statement by the press secretary Shaibu Abdullahi, who cited the secretary to the state government (SSG) Baba Mallam Wali.

He said the appointees include former speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Hon Ahmed Lawan Mirwa, Adamu Abdu Chilariye, Hon. Kachallu Mai Kadir, and Hon. Maina Mafa.

The appointments take immediate effect.
