Buni, Speaker, Others Attend Emir Of Tikau’s Funeral Prayers

Yobe State Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni in company of the Speaker Yobe House of Assembly, Hon. Ciroma Buba Mashio, Senator representing Zone B, Mohammed Ibrahim Bomoi, emirs and hundreds of others yesterday attended funeral prayer for the late Emir of Tikau, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Ibn Grema, at the Emir’s palace, Sabon Garin Nangere.

Governor Buni described the death of the first-class emir as a great loss to the emirate, the state, and the country, saying his wealth of wisdom and experience would be greatly missed.
He added, “He was a peace loving leader, fair and just to all, objective and committed to the interest of his people and the development of Tikau Emirate.”

Governor Buni prayed to Almighty Allah to grant his soul eternal rest in Aljanna firdaus and to grant his family, and the people of the emirate the fortitude to bear the loss.

He extended condolences to his family and the emirate.

National Assembly members including Hon. Lawan Shettima Ali, Hon. Tijjani Zanna Zakariya, the APC state chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Gadaka, members of the state assembly, commissioners, the business community and others from within and outside the state also attended the funeral prayer.
They prayed to Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.
