The meeting focused on security matters in education, revenue generation and review on the crisis between the farmers and herders in the rural areas.

Buni also warned the local government chairmen to consider security as the number one priority and give maximum support to security agencies in their respective local governments.

He equally advised them to improve their revenue generation and block any holes of corruption for the betterment of the local government.

The governor said a report from the local government indicated that most of the local government staff are not reporting to their duty post, late coming and early closing, saying henceforth this attitude will not be tolerated.

He said the local government plays  a key role in community development by providing services and promoting civic engagement, as it is the government closest to the masses.

He urged them to intensify the monthly prayers for peace and stability in the state.
