Nigerian music star , Damini Ogulu, famously known as Burna Boy, has unapologetically confronted allegations of disrespect leveled against him by David ‘Electric’ Hinds, lead singer of the renowned reggae band, Steel Pulse.

The drama unfolded at the 2024 Summer Jam Festival in Germany, where both Burna Boy and Steel Pulse headlined alongside other music heavyweights.

According to Hinds, Burna Boy and his  entourage allegedly pushed Steel Pulse out of their dressing room to make space for themselves, and sparked a heated exchange.

Days later, amidst the pulsating rhythms of the ongoing Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay, Jamaica, where Burna Boy took center stage, he seized the microphone to address the brewing controversy.

Towering over the crowd, Burna Boy declared that anyone spreading rumors of his disrespect was merely craving attention.

With unyielding confidence, the ‘Last Last’ hitmaker asserted that he does not go out of his way to disrespect anyone, although he was quick to add that if disrespect is dished out, it’s usually because the recipient has earned it.
