Also Burna Boy on Thursday, January 23, 2025 took his global impact to another level when he performs at Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes 2025, an exceptional charity event set to take place at Paris La Défense Arena. In its third edition, the gala featured a stellar lineup of international stars, including Katy Perry, Gims, John Legend, Rosé, J-Hope, G-Dragon, and more.
Burna Boy is one of Nigeria biggest export in today’s Afrobeats music, having gained recognition in 2012 after releasing “Like to Party”, the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E (2013). In 2017, Burna Boy signed a record deal with Atlantic Records and its parent company Warner Music Group.
Having won Best International Act at the BET Awards in 2019 and named an Apple Music Up Next artist, he went on to win a Grammy from his fifth studio album ‘Twice as Tall’ which won Best World Music Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles on March 14, 2021.
