A renowned business mogul, High Chief Samuel Heinz, has refuted allegations against the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral, Emmanuel Ogalla, published by an online medium recently.
In a statement issued yesterday in Abuja, while reacting to the allegation that the Naval Chief was involved in bunkering among other crimes, Heinz said some people are out to frustrate the gains the current administration has achieved especially in mitigating the theft of crude oil through the nation‘s waterways.
Heinz, who is the chairman Heinz Group of companies said the report was aimed at tarnishing the hard earned reputation of the Chief of Naval Staff.

He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for running an inclusive government in Nigeria that gives the people a sense of belonging in the governance of the country.
He said, „We thank you Mr. President, for appointing a man of proven experience and integrity as the Naval Chief of the country who represents all tribes, shades of opinion in the discharge of his duties and fostering unity in our Armed Forces.
“Your sustained commitment to inclusive leadership in a sincere quest to strengthen our nation that has over the years been plagued by our fault lines of tribal and religious differences.

“It has been observed that some people are out to frustrate the gains this administration has earned especially in mitigating the theft of crude oil through our waterways by using vulnerable persons in the media to project sponsored publications without an iota of truth.”
Heinz who is also the Ozioko Mbuke, Nsukka, appealed to the president not to fall for the cheap antics of the blackmailers but invite them to come with their evidence to buttress their allegations.
