The chairman, New Nyanya Group of companies, has tasked Nasarawa State governor Abdullahi Sule on commitment to service delivery to the people, saying his first term in office was defined in the state as a feat worthy of emulation by other governors.

He also commended the Supreme Court for the fatherly role it has played in resolving the gubernatorial election appeals before it thereby confirming the people’s mandate.

He made this known in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja, where he also hailed the judiciary as truly being the last home of the common man in Nigeria, where some people find joy in oppressing the vulnerable.

He said, “The success story of leadership acumen of governor Abdullahi Sule in Nasarawa State can not be over emphasised, because of his sustained commitment to service delivery to the people, his first term in office was defined in the state as a feat worthy of emulation by other governors, because he initiated several projects, that directly impacted the lives of the people which earned him the name “Mr. Project” and so much support at the 18th March 2023 polls and it this time in the progression of the State it cannot settle for less.

Heinz who is also the chairman Heinz Group of companies Nigeria limited, said that Sule is not one of the governor’s you can associate with running their states from abroad or Abuja.

He said he is always on ground to ensure that issues are resolved amicably, no matter what tribe or religion you associate with.

He said he is not tribal or religious begot, and he makes sure that other tribes and religions in the state do their businesses without any form of harassment or intimidation and his quest for peace is second to none that is why the state is very peaceful and large number of people working in Abuja can live without feeling as if they are living far from the Federal Capital Territory.

“So it is important for us to commend the judiciary because other states are also jubilating over the court’s verdict on their Guber elections and we have to continue to support the justices to discharge their duties in tandem with the oath they took before assuming that hallowed position in society, because they are revered in the society due to the importance of the path they have chosen for themselves and they must be responsible for delivering sound judgements that would enrich our jurisprudence, no matter whose ox is gored.

Heinz posited that as a people we should also be proud to commend government when they get their policies right and also to constructively criticise government when their policies are practically working against the wishes and aspirations of the people, because our constitution captures it clearly that the security and welfare of the people should be the priority of government and that is why we are commending the Supreme Court for confirming people’s mandate at the last gubernatorial elections especially that of Nasarawa State.
