A businessman, Edwin Oraka has won the ‘Salary 4 Life’ prize in Access Bank’s DiamondXtra reward scheme, as the bank continues the programme’s tradition of empowering customers with life-changing prizes.
The scheme, which has been running for 17 years, has rewarded over 30,947 customers with more than N6.62 billion to date. The rewards will include a star prize of ‘Salary 4 Life’ (N200,000 for 15 years) for three lucky customers, loyalty rewards, and digital marketing training, among others. The event is being closely monitored by regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and fairness.
Receiving the award at the DiamondXtra Season 17 Regional Draw held over the weekend in Lagos, Oraka, who is into the real estate business, shared his joy and gratitude, saying, ‘I am incredibly happy and thankful for this unexpected opportunity. My loyalty to Access Bank has been steadfast, and I believe in the bank’s long-term value as an asset.’ He further highlighted the reliability of Nigerian banks, including Access Bank, noting their relentless pursuit of service enhancement even in challenging times.
The regional manager, Mainland 3, Access Bank, Chika Ochuwa, emphasised the significance of the DiamondXtra Reward Scheme as a testament to the bank’s dedication to its loyal customers.
He stated, “This initiative has only grown stronger each year, achieving remarkable milestones through our customers’ unwavering trust and our exceptional team’s dedication.”
Ochuwa expressed pride in reaching this 17th season, highlighting that the success of previous editions reflects the values Access Bank upholds.
He noted that “innovation and excellence remain at the heart of our success.” Despite industry challenges and imitations, DiamondXtra continues to distinguish itself as a leading customer reward scheme.
“For this season, the Bank will share N228.7 million among 12,073 participants through various rewarding categories, including the coveted ‘Salary 4 Life’ prize, loyalty rewards, monthly and regional draws, complimentary digital marketing training, and special cluster draws.”
He added that regulators such as the Lagos State Lottery Regulatory Commission and the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission will closely observe the draws to ensure a fair and transparent experience.
As the 17th season of DiamondXtra unfolds, Ochuwa stated that the mission to empower customers and foster financial growth remains central to Access Bank’s vision, transforming dreams into reality.
The zonal coordinator for the South-West Zonal Office of the Federal Competition & Consumer Protection Commission, Olubunmi Otti expressed her endorsement, stating, “we collaborate to ensure that Access Bank honours its promotional commitments, which is vital for consumer protection.
