Calabar Agog For John Owan Enoh Tennis Grand Finale

The grand finale of John Owan Enoh (JOE) Tennis Tournament, tagged ‘Cross River Open’ is set to hold on Tuesday, December 26, at the prestigious Calabar Sports Club.

The tournament, an initiative of sports development minister, Senator John Owan Enoh, is providing a platform for nurturing tennis talents and fostering sportsmanship and culture of healthy competition. The event features U15 category, doubles, women’s and men’s singles, and pro exhibition games.

The chief organizer and sports Development minister, Senator John Owan Enoh, said: “The tournament represents a foundation for athletic excellence and dedication. It’s a testament to our passion to support aspiring athletes and promote sports development within our communities.”

“Also, this is an avenue of giving back to the society and community as a son of the soil, empowering young and talented people to find purpose, pursue passion, and attain greatness.”

As the grand finale approaches, excitement mounts not only among the competitors but also among tennis enthusiasts and supporters eagerly anticipating high-caliber matches and memorable moments, as the Minister also plans to attend.
