Less than a month to the inauguration of the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II, has taken a swipe at those canvassing for an interim national government.

Oba Balogun spoke at his Alarere, Ibadan residence when the Amalgamated APC Support Groups (AASG) in South-West visited him yesterday to round-off the city-round rally organised by the group to counter those calling for interim government.

He described the calls as undemocratic and irritating, wondering while certain individuals in the opposition camp will be calling for annulment of an election that was successfully conducted by the nation’s electoral body.

Since the declaration of Tinubu as the winner of the Presidential election held on 25th February this year by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), there had been calls for the cancellation of the election from the opposition camp and insisted on the formation of an interim National Government.
