CAN Calls For Prayers Over Shortage Of Rainfall In Borno

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) , Borno State Chapter has called on Christians to assembly and prayer for God’s intervention over shortage of rainfall.

The call was contained in a statement issued to Journalists by the secretary of CAN, Apostle Joshua Michael on Thursday in Maiduguri.

The statement reads,” The Leadership of State CAN wishes to invite all Brethren within Maiduguri Metropolitan Council ( MMC ) and Jere local government area for a special intercessory prayer towards shortage of rainfall within Maiduguri Metropolis.

” The prayer is scheduled to take place by the special grace of God on Friday , the 21st of July, 2023 by 10:00am and the venue is First Baptist Church, Maiduguri.

” We pray that God Almighty shall answer our prayers through Christ our Lord, Amen,” the statement reads.

It could be recalled that Muslim faithful in Maiduguri had carried out prayers as directed by the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Elkanemi over the shortage of rainfall which was held at the Ramat Square Maiduguri.
