The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has felicitated the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as she celebrates her 64th birthday.

In a statement signed by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, the first lady has shown a solid commitment to various social causes, particularly in agriculture, women’s empowerment, education, healthcare, and philanthropy.

Okoh further stated that her efforts in these critical sectors are commendable and reflect a deep understanding of our nation’s challenges.

“However, it is crucial to acknowledge the pressing issues many Nigerians face today. Rising inflation, insecurity, and the ongoing struggle for necessities have significantly impacted countless families.

“As we celebrate the First Lady’s contributions, we must also call for renewed dedication from all levels of government to address these pressing concerns.

“We encourage the First Lady to continue her advocacy for the marginalised and voiceless, ensuring their needs and aspirations are prioritised in the national discourse. We hope her influence can help catalyse positive change and foster a Nigeria where every citizen can thrive in peace and prosperity.

“As we honour her, let us reflect on our collective responsibility to uplift one another and work towards a brighter future for all Nigerians. Happy Birthday, Your Excellency Oluremi Tinubu. May your journey ahead be filled with purpose and grace,” he stated.
