A statement by the university’s registrar, Hajiya Rakiya Bello Dangado, said the development was an outcome of the National Universities Commission (NUC)’s visitation panel, which was recently hosted at the university.

According to the statement, the panel was impressed with the standard of the new university’s facilities and operational procedures, which became operational in 2021.

“The management of NUC, therefore, granted a full licence to the university in place of the provisional certificate initially issued at commencement. This outcome is a product of commitment to excellence by the institution’s governing council, management and staff who have been working collectively to carve a niche for the university,” the statement read.

Also, a statement from the office of the vice chancellor, Prof Yusuf Daraja, congratulated stakeholders, particularly the university students, for the promising achievement coming within a few years of operation.
