The Mission Take Heart, through the Catholic Diocese of Yola, has sponsored the registration of 71 youths at various colleges and universities.

Each student benefited from N100,000 for the registration.

Additionally, 150 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from three formal camps—St. Theresa, Fofure, and Malkohi—received support with starter packs for their businesses.

Dr. Stephen Dami Mamza, the Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese, mentioned that the beneficiaries underwent 14 months of training in psychosocial and spiritual activities, receiving stipends every month.

Mamza advised the beneficiaries to act as ambassadors of peace, utilize the items provided for their intended purposes, and refrain from selling them.

Helen Ibrahim, one of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to the Catholic Diocese of Yola for the gesture through the Mission Take Heart, regardless of their denominations, religious beliefs, and tribal differences. She also pledged to make good use of the knowledge and items given to them.
