CDS, COAS Storm Borno After Tripple Suicide Bomb Attacks In Maiduguri

The Chief of Defence Staff( CDS ) , General Olufemi Oluyede, and the Chief of Army Staff ( COAS ) , Lt Gen Waidi Shaibu on Wednesday arrived Maiduguri 24 hours after the tripple suicide bomb attacks in Maiduguri that claimed over 25 lives with several others injured.

The CDS and the COAS were received at the Air Force Base Maiduguri by the Theatre Commander Operation Hadin Kai, Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar, who led them to the command and control centre of the OPHK Maimalari Cantonment, where they are currently holding a private meeting with other senior military commanders.
