American singer and dancer, Christopher Maurice Brown, better known as Chris Brown, is seeking joint custody of his four-year-old daughter after her mother, Diamond Brown, asked a Los Angeles court for sole legal and physical custody.

In court documents filed in May, Diamond requested full custody of their daughter, Lovely Symphani Brown, and proposed that Brown be granted visitation rights only.

However, the singer has opposed the request. According to reports, he is seeking joint legal and physical custody. He also wants both parties to cover their own legal costs, while Diamond has asked the court to require him to pay the expenses.

The custody dispute follows recent tensions between the pair on social media. Diamond accused Brown of interfering in her personal life, while Brown’s partner, Jada Wallace, alleged that Diamond had limited his access to their daughter.

Brown is also father to Royalty Brown, whom he shares with Nia Guzman, and Aeko Catori Brown, whom he shares with Ammika Harris.
