Christ Embassy has announced plans to expand its global humanitarian outreach with a major feeding initiative in Kenya aimed at reaching up to five million people weekly by the end of 2026.

The initiative, unveiled as part of the ministry’s broader philanthropy and social intervention efforts, was designed to address growing concerns over food insecurity and hunger affecting vulnerable communities across different parts of the world.

According to the Nigerian religious organisation, the Kenya project represents a significant step in its ongoing commitment to providing sustainable humanitarian support through feeding programmes, relief interventions, and community-focused development initiatives.

The ministry said the programme would provide food assistance to millions of vulnerable individuals and families across various communities in Kenya, while contributing to global efforts targeted at reducing hunger-related deaths and hardship.

The feeding campaign is also expected to strengthen support systems for underserved populations facing economic difficulties and rising food costs.

Over the years, Christ Embassy has carried out several humanitarian initiatives across multiple countries, including large-scale feeding outreaches, empowerment schemes, medical support programmes, and other community development projects aimed at improving the welfare of disadvantaged groups.

Observers noted that the ministry’s expanding international humanitarian activities reflect a growing emphasis on practical social impact alongside its spiritual mission.

The Kenya initiative comes amid increasing global concerns over worsening food insecurity, with humanitarian agencies warning that millions of people across Africa and other regions remain at risk of hunger due to economic instability, climate-related challenges, and conflicts.

Supporters and humanitarian observers have described the Kenya feeding programme as one of Christ Embassy’s most ambitious humanitarian projects so far, saying it could significantly expand the ministry’s influence in global humanitarian engagement if successfully implemented.

Preparations for the project are expected to continue ahead of the ministry’s 2026 target for full-scale weekly outreach across affected communities in Kenya.
