“We know President Bola Tinubu is truthful with his policies, so he should stay the course. We know there are detractors, he should stay the course. As we said to Nigerians during his campaign that he is a Cyrus, he should stay the course.

“Those who do not understand that we have a few more hours before the breaking of the day, will soon understand. We know it looks dark now, we are not denying that.

“But, if the President has a steady course and his policies are pointing in the right direction, it will take us somewhere, if he do not quit. As the President stays the course, if he see any of his ministers that he appointed, not going in his direction, remove the person immediately,” he said.

The Christian leaders also applauded President Tinubu for the appointment of Bishop Adegbite as Executive Secretary, saying that it is the most appropriate appointment at this juncture in the history of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC).

“Pilgrimage is an important aspect of the faith of Jesus Christ as it is one of the few physical ordinance of which believers, in real time connect by faith and experience to the Holy Land, where our Lord and Saviour laid the foundations of our faith by dying for our sins on the cross of Calvary.

“For Mr. President, at this point in time to an extremely credible and reputable Christian Cleric like Bishop Adegbite to head NCPC, is a testimony to the fact that he is indeed a lover of our faith,” he said.
