Sir Paul Chukwuma’s media assistant, Mr Obi Chukwuemeka, has debunked a report on social media platforms and other news outlets claiming that Chukwuma has been detained by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

In a press statement yesterday, Chukwuemeka said the report is entirely false as Sir Chukwuma is currently at work in his office and is not in detention.

It would be recalled that Chukwuma, founder and promoter of Fides Et Ratio Academy, an educational service provider, was alleged to have been detained on June 5th, 2024.

The statement said, “Fides et Ratio, founded by Sir Paul Chukwuma, has always complied with contractual obligations and adhered to the principles of accountability and transparency.

“The ICPC must supervise contractual requirements and request documents to ensure compliance. Once requested, every law-abiding company must comply with the agency’s request and provide requested documentation.

“Fides et Ratio will continue collaborating with the ICPC to demonstrate adherence to regulatory provisions, as the company is built on transparency and respect for the law.

“We urge the general public to disregard any further misleading publications.”
