A religious organisation, the Glorious Destiny Family Church, also known as Destiny Chapel, has rehabilitated the dilapidated sections of Ndoki Street in Port Harcourt City local government area of Rivers State.

The street, located in Coronation Layout, is a major road linking the Borokiri axis of the Port Harcourt metropolis to other parts of the state capital.

Speaking to LEADERSHIP on the development, the lead pastor of the Church, Akeem Idoniboye, said the rehabilitation work was part of the organisation’s community support effort.

Idoniboye said the church was touched by the difficulty the residents of the area and other motorists plying the road had passed through due to the deplorable condition of the road.

He said: “We use that road sometimes, and we think we could do something to alleviate the suffering of motorists plying that road and those living there.
