To this end, the institute hosted a fun-filled Family Picnic, bringing together members, families, and representatives from various insurance companies. The event was a resounding celebration of unity, camaraderie, and the insurance industry’s collective strength.

The picnic, held on August 23, 2025, at Eleko Beach and Resort in Lagos, was a wonderful opportunity for insurance professionals to relax, socialise, and bond with their loved ones.

The president/chairman of CIIN, Mrs. Yetunde Ilori, at the event, said: “And how needful of such an event in fostering work-life balance. Also, it brings to light that this will be her first Family Picnic as the 52nd President/Chairman of Council, and that she is happy to be starting it with all insurance companies present.”

The president’s entourage, which included past president Edwin Igbiti, deputy president Akinjide Orimolade, CIIN Treasurer Adetutu Aruisika, council members Adeniran Aderinoye and Patience Ugboajah, registrar/CEO of CIIN Abimbola Tiamiyu, President of PILA Bimbo Onakomaya, and rector of the College Dr. Chizoba Eheogu, among other dignitaries, visited several Insurance companies’ tents.

Insurance companies present at the event appreciated the president’s kind hospitality and thoughtfulness in visiting them to spend quality time with them. They extended their hands of love to the president of the council and also took pictures. This movement of the president and her entourage was the major highlight of the occasion, as were the welcoming gestures of each Insurance company.
