Apostle Monday Enwere has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the recent appointment of Senator Mao Arikwe Ohuabunwa as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the University of Port Harcourt.
Conveying his goodwill message through his representative, Gift Enwere, Apostle Dr. Monday Enwere expressed his delight at the appointment, highlighting Senator Ohuabunwa’s impressive background and suitability for the role.
He emphasised that Ohuabunwa’s early life and education demonstrate a deep understanding of the academic landscape in Port Harcourt.
Enwere praised Ohuabunwa’s transparency and impeccable character.
He cited the senator’s significant contributions to national infrastructural and socio-economic development, including his 2015 National Center for Cancer and Treatment bills, the National Council for Research and Development, and the Medical and Dental Practitioners Act.
According to Enwere, these achievements underscore Ohuabunwa’s qualifications for his new role as Pro-Chancellor.
Enwere concluded the message with a prayer for Senator Ohuabunwa, wishing him wisdom, courage, and the grace of God to successfully fulfill his duties and achieve his goals as Chairman of the University Council.
