The Coalition of Airport Businesses in Nigeria (COABIN) have expressed its support and commendation for the newly appointed Director of Aviation Security Services at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), ACP Igbafe Albert Afegbai Rtd.

Speaking at a stakeholder meeting in Lagos, COABIN Chairman Comrade Stanley Ugwu highlighted the positive changes already witnessed across Nigerian airports since ACP Afegbai’s appointment.

He said the group is impressed by the swift and decisive action taken by Afegbai to enhance passenger safety and security across our airports.

He specifically praised Afegbai’s focus on eradicating miscreant activities within airport terminals, saying, “Our members, who operate businesses across various airports, have observed a noticeable improvement in the overall atmosphere.

“There’s a renewed sense of safety and security, which is crucial for both passenger comfort and business confidence.”
