Coalition For Obi-Datti Holds Town Hall Meeting To Sensitise Youths, Women

Coalition for Obi-Datti (CPO) yesterday held a town hall meeting to sensitise women and youths from the Kaduna North Senatorial district of Kaduna State on the need to support the Labour Party (LP) and all her candidates come 2023.

The town hall meeting which was held in Zaria had in attendance the Kaduna State deputy governorship candidate of the party Hon. Bashir Idris Aliyu Zango Aya, Senatorial candidate of Zone 1, Ibrahim Sidi Bamalli, Senatorial candidate of Zone 3, Engr. Michael Ayuba Auta and a Governorship aspirant who stepped down Hon. Shunom Adinga among other personalities and candidates of the party.

 

While addressing the gathering which was largely women, the deputy governorship candidate, Aliyu encouraged the women as mothers of the nation who are most affected by the misgovernance of the present administration, to support Labour Party that will bring in genuine changes and provide inclusive governance.

He said, “Nigerians are tired of the insecurity, hardship and unwarranted pains brought upon them by the ruling party and are eager to bring in a credible alternative which is the party with a human face, and urged all in attendance to preach the message to their loved ones.”
In their separate speeches, the Senatorial candidates, Engr. Auta and Hon. Bamalli both told the women and youths to take their destinies into their hands by coming out en-mass to support all the candidates of the labour party for a better Nigeria.

Earlier in her speech, the convener of the town hall meeting, Barrister Mrs Amina Sidi Bamalli said the town hall meeting has a representation of the 99 wards that make up zone one, largely women and selected youths.
She stressed that politicians have used religion and tribe to divide us for their selfish interests, adding that every woman wants peace in her home and able to meet their daily needs which according to her the present administration has failed to provide.

According to her, all the candidates of the labour party are men and women of integrity and called on them too. use their senses to vote for the right candidates which you only be found in the labour party.

“Do not be deceived with money politics in voting wrong candidates come 2023 and suffer for another four years and beyond, vote people that fear God and are ready to provide dividends of democracy”.
