Speaking during the matriculation, the acting provost of the College, Barrister Suleiman Ahmad said the institution has put in place necessary measures to ensure that learning equipment, facilities and conducive environment are provided for academic excellence.

Ahmed enjoined the students to face their studies squarely and to shun social vices such as drug abuse, examination malpractice and cultism, stressing that the college has no room for such.

The provost praised Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for his giant strides in education and other development policies and projects in the state, promising to complement the administration by drilling a solar-powered borehole to provide water for both staff and students in the institution.

He also commended the state attorney general and commissioner for Justice, Barrister Afraimu Jingi and other relevant stakeholders including management and staff for their effort in repositioning the college to rub shoulders with other institutions of higher learning.

Barrister Suleiman advised both the newly admitted and returning students to take advantage of the rare opportunity they have to study and strive to represent the institution creditably.
