A reconciliation committee set up by the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Malumfashi and Kafur Federal Constituency, has called on the stakeholders in the areas to intensify efforts in mobilising support for the party ahead of the forthcoming general election.
The chairman of the Committee, the special adviser to Governor Aminu Masari on Social Empowerment and Special Interventions, Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, made the plea during their meeting in Funtua local government area recently.
He said the committee was set up by Governor Aminu Bello Masari, to reconcile with aggrieved members of the party to ensure success in the election, adding that they are not made to hunt anybody but to enhance the existing unity and understanding among the party members for more development.
Nasir, therefore, drew the attention of the stakeholder to strive hard in enlightening the electorates on the giant stride made by the APC at the federal and state levels.
He reaffirmed that the party has executed various projects and programmes that have a direct bearing on the lives of common Nigerians.
He also reiterated that the government has done remarkably well in the areas of road construction, upgrading of rail lines as well as fighting against corruption which had for long become a source of concern in the country.
Nasir further disclosed that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has initiated several Social Investment Programmes including N-Power programme, School Feeding as well as Conditional Cash Transfer, Government Enterprises Empowerment Programme GEEP among others.
He added that the administration has been assisting farmers through various programmes to boost their production for food security.
He then called on the electorates to come out in large numbers to vote for the candidates fielded by the APC for more democratic dividends.
