Delta State government’s Committee on Certificate Racketeering Investigation and Suspension of Affected Staff at Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, has submitted its report.

It was submitted yesterday in Asaba, which was received by the deputy governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, .
He thanked the committee for its detailed work and assured that proper action would be taken on the report.

“I want to commend the chairman and members of this committee for doing a very good job. Your report is very clear and straightforward, especially as it concerns the allegations of certificate racketeering.
“Thank you, we will do an executive summary to His Excellency, the Governor for further actions based on your recommendations.”

The chairman of the Committee, Sir Christopher Osakwe, presented the report to the deputy governor and top government functionaries, including the Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Tonukari Johnbull. The report details the findings of the Inter-Ministerial Committee constituted to investigate allegations of certificate racketeering and the subsequent suspension of the polytechnic’s staff.

The committee was inaugurated on March 25, 2025.
