Community Hails Appointment Of Abubaker As ARCN Executive Secretary

Executive Director, Karlos Community Development and Empowerment Initiative, Comrade Abdulsalam Sani Dabban, hails the appointment of Dr. Abubakar Adamu as the Executive Secretary of the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (ARCN).

Abubaker was recently appointed by Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to head the Council.

Dabban described the appointment as a strategic and timely development that will greatly enhance agricultural research and innovation in Nigeria.

He spoke during the presentation of start-up packs 100 women and youths in Lavun local government area of Niger State.

He also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing “one of the finest minds capable of driving an agricultural research revolution in the country.”

He highlighted the organization’s ongoing commitment to grassroots economic empowerment and sustainable development.

“We believe Dr. Abubakar Adamu’s leadership at ARCN will deliver transformative solutions to the challenges facing agricultural development, particularly in the areas of innovation, research commercialization, and youth engagement,” Comrade Dabban stated.

He reiterated that Karlos Community Development and Empowerment Initiative remains focused on poverty reduction, youth and women empowerment, and rural development through practical and scalable interventions that foster self-reliance and inclusive growth.

Comrade Dabban expressed optimism that collaboration between government institutions and civil society will deepen under Dr. Adamu’s tenure, ensuring that research outcomes are translated into tangible improvements for farmers and rural communities.
