COPAN Backs ACF ‘s Condemnation Of Insecurity In North

Conference of Patriotic Nigerians (COPAN) has commended the stance taken by the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) on the insecurity in parts of northern Nigeria.

National coordinator of  COPAN, Barrister Uchenna Odieli, in a press statement,  described the ACF’s vocal condemnation of the security crisis and their call for decisive action as a testament to their commitment to the well-being and safety of northerners.

He praised the ACF for speaking truth to power and holding those responsible for addressing insecurity accountable.

He also advocated for a comprehensive approach to tackle the root causes of insecurity, including poverty, unemployment and social inequality.

COPAN applauded the ACF’s call for the restructuring of the country to address underlying structural issues contributing to the current state of insecurity.

He said; “The leadership and advocacy of the ACF on these critical issues are crucial in mobilising collective action towards a more secure and prosperous Nigeria.
