The Association of Corporate Trustees (ACT), the representative body for all registered corporate trustees in Nigeria, said it is set to engage with investors and capital market stakeholders in raising awareness about the essential fiduciary role that corporate trustees play in achieving the objectives of sustainable finance.

To this end, the Association will host its 2024 Business Luncheon on June 20, 2024 in Lagos with the theme ‘Sustainable Finance – The Role of the Corporate Trustee’.

Speaking at the event, the president of the Association, Omolola Iyinolakan said that the annual event aligns with the association’s objective of fostering cohesiveness among its members while promoting synergies within the Nigerian Capital Market.

According to Iyinolakan, the event seeks to sensitise investors and stakeholders on the fiduciary role of Corporate Trustees and other capital market operators in the actualization of the goals of sustainable finance.

“The ACT Business Luncheon promises to be a great avenue for investors and stakeholders looking to identify investment opportunities and understand risk mitigation while maximising overall long-term value.”
