Justice R. B Haastrup of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria Sokoto division gave the order while passing judgement filed by the officer on his dismissal.

The plaintiff filed the suit against the Police Service Commission over his sack in August 2019 where he claimed that he was illegally sacked for alleged misconduct and forgery.

She added that they also punished the complainant without fair hearing.

The judge said that the defendants failed to defend their action and therefore ruled that the dismissal was unconstitutional.
