Crave Fest: Abuja To Host Junk Food Festival Dec 14

The maiden edition of Crave Fest, the biggest junk food festival in Nigeria, is set to launch on December 14, 2024, at City Park, Wuse 2, Abuja, bringing together food lovers for a flavour-packed experience.

The event promises a day filled with indulgent treats, live music, games, and a family-friendly atmosphere – the perfect way to kick off the festive season for all ages.

According to the organiser, Crave Fest traces its origins to a passion for homemade ice cream shared by a mother-and-son duo, Falnyi Tehilah Shadrach and Destiny Praise, who turned their love for ice cream into Eleeshas Icecream. Starting in 2022 with unique, homemade recipes, Eleeshas quickly gained popularity in Abuja and Zaria, Kaduna State.

“Crave Fest is not just an event—it’s a community. The festival’s vision is to bring people together through a shared love of food, offering a lively environment that promotes connection, discovery, and enjoyment.”

The event will feature the best of Abuja’s vibrant food scene with an exciting mix of vendors and exclusive treats, plus a lineup of entertainment to keep guests engaged all day. From games and live music to vibrant festival vibes, this event aims to create unforgettable memories and celebrate the creativity, passion, and diversity within Nigeria’s food culture.
