The Southern Kaduna Youth Stakeholders Forum (SKYSF) has pleaded with Governor Uba Sani to support one of the council chairmen from Southern Kaduna to clinch the position of the state chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON).
The forum said it is essential for Southern Kaduna to be represented at the highest levels of local governance, ensuring that the zone’s unique challenges and perspectives were adequately addressed.
Chairman of the forum, Hon. Joseph Tanko Chori, in a statement, explained that the emergence of a competent local government chairman from the Southern Kaduna region to the vital position of ALGON chairman would not only benefit the communities but also reinforce the governor’s commitment to inclusivity and fairness across all zones of the state.
While congratulating the newly elected local government chairmen and councillors in Kaduna State in the just concluded elections, the forum said,” We want to assure His Excellency Governor Uba Sani of our unwavering support of the people of Southern Kaduna throughout his administration. Our collective vision is to create an environment where all citizens can thrive,” Chori said.
