Nigeria Custom Service (NCS) area command in Kebbi State has seized 184 laptops, 284 parcels of Indian hemp in the border areas in the state.
It also generated over N100 million revenue from import duty as well as facilitated the export of locally manufactured goods worth over N2 billion from the state.
This was made known by state controller of customs, Mr. Joseph Atta, while briefing journalists on the monthly command’s activities yesterday at the command headquarters Birnin Kebbi.
Atta also revealed that 2.250 litres of petrol were intercepted and confiscated 38 cartons of whitening (bleaching) cream), 80 pieces of solar batteries from smugglers.
He said the seized items would be handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for further action.
