DAAR Communications Retires Senior Directors

DAAR Communications PLC, the parent company of AIT, Raypower, and Faaji FM, has officially announced the retirement of several executive directors who have served in their roles for over a decade.

A statement issued by the company secretary, Miji Jonah, Esq, said the decision aligned with the Code of Corporate Governance and the Company’s Internal Control Policies and Procedures Manual.

The announcement followed recent reports by News Direct and other media outlets regarding the retirement of key executives.

The board has confirmed the retirement of the following members of its Executive Management, effective 31 October 2024, after they complete their two-term tenure.

They are Mr Tony Akiotu, Dr Oluwatosin Dokpesi, Dr Ambrose Somide, and Engr. Anthony Uyah; Ms. Paulyn Ugbodagha and Mrs. Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi.
