The communities in the area led by former Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) official, Aminu Dabo, visited the Ministry of Transportation where they thanked the minister of transportation, Saidu Alkali, for his pivotal role.

The delegation, which included Hon Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari, the member representing Dambatta/Makoda federal constituency, expressed gratitude to the minister for considering the appeal made by deputy senate president, Barau Jubrin in support of the railway station in Dambatta.

The approval of the railway station is seen as a significant development that will greatly benefit the local communities and the region as a whole.

The Kano-Maradi Rail project is a crucial infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing transportation and connectivity within the region.
