Bashir Adamu, who represented the president of Dangote Group, presented the items, which included bags of salt and sugar, to the state governor, Caleb Mutfwang  , at the old Government House, Rayfield, Jos.

According to him, the rice would reduce the hardship in the state while expressing optimism  that the items will reach the target audience.

Governor Mutfwang, while symbolically receiving the items, expressed gratitude to the donor, saying that no matter how rich a person is, if he does not reach out to the downtrodden, the affluence is nothing after all.

According to the governor, the poorest of the poor will benefit from the gifted items, encouraging other rich people to emulate Dangote’s good gesture.
