Dedicates Award To People of Nasarawa State

Nasarawa state governor. Engineer Abdullahi Sule, has received the Nigerian excellence award in pubic service for his giant stride in the agricultural sector.

The president, Muhammadu Buhari presented the award to the governor, at a ceremony inside the presidential villa, in Abuja, recently.

Abdullahi Sule while reacting dedicated the award to the people of Nasarawa state, investors who believe in the state and invested in agriculture,including the host communities where the these investments were sited.

Speaking shortly after receiving the award to members of the government House Press crew,Engineer Sule averred that Nasarawa state indigenes especially those that exceeled in feild of human endeavor including traditional rulers, community leaders, politicians and other category of people, were amongst those who received the national merit award last week.

He appreciated the people of Nasarawa state for their commitment and support,staring further that the state government will remain grateful to the led federal government under the headship of president Muhammadu Buhari for the good work is doing in the state.

The executive secretary,of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHDA), Dr Faisal Shuaib was amongst those that received the NEAPS award in the area of health.

Other illustrious personalities that bagged the national honour awards are ,the Chairman, Nasarawa state Council of Chiefs, retired Justice Sidi Bage,the emir of Lafia,the paramount ruler of Gudi,HRH,Alhaji Sule Bawa,the emir of Keffi,HRH,Shehu Yamusa, (Chindo Yamusa),former Nigerian Ambassador to Thailand,Musa Ellu.
