Hon. Mubarak Hamisu Usman has officially joined the Social Democratic Party (SDP), marking a new chapter in his political journey dedicated to advancing the development of Gombe State and Nigeria.

Gombe State SDP chairman, Comr. Adamu Modibbo and state secretary Dr Bashir Abdullahi accompanied him to the party’s national headquarters in Abuja. They were received by SDP national chairman Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam, alongside party officials and enthusiastic supporters.

A philanthropist, Hon. Mubarak said his decision to join the SDP was driven by a commitment to addressing Nigeria’s pressing challenges, including economic hardship, insecurity, and youth unemployment. He described the SDP as a platform for credible, people-centred leadership.

He also urged Nigerians, particularly the youth, to remain hopeful, engaged, and active in shaping a better future through political participation.
