Dekunle Okunrinboye in full Dekunle Remi Jr. Okunrinboye was the founder of DK industry Group who began with a haulage business in Nigeria 2015. He was a pioneer industrialist whose vision and ambitious endeavors helped catapult Ondo State into the league of industrialized states through Cocoa exports.

He is a patriot and humanist whose ideas and vision shaped an exceptional business conglomerate. His attributes marked him an extraordinary figure. His quality of humaneness made him unique and placed him in the pantheon of modern Nigeria greatest sons.

He was born into a wealthy Yoruba Christian family in Ondo State, Western Nigeria. He is
last of 9 children, the Father, Remi Okunrinboye is an elder statesman, Politician, Accountant and astute administrator. He is the cousin of Adekunle Ajasin (The First Civilian Governor of Ondo State). He is one of the foremost indigenous cocoa Merchant with over four decades experience in the exportation of cocoa to the United States of America, Europe and far Middle East with emphasis on quality cocoa from Nigeria. He was one of the few people who in 1986 upon the liberalization of cocoa took the bull by the horn to start cocoa international marketing that attracted mostly the Europeans and Asians at that time.

Dekunle was the first member of the family who broke the tradition of joining the priesthood and tried his hand at business. Dekunle was raised in Nigeria and joined his father when he was still tender in age. He enrolled at elementary education at his father’s Institution; Adedewe Educational Center followed by Sacred Heart Minor Seminary, Akure. And later Caleb International College, Lagos. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Babcock University and a leadership excellence certificate in Ascot, England.

In 2015, at the age of 20, after gaining experience of about nine years of working with his father, he started his own company that later evolved into a DK Industries Group.

In 2020, he had floated a fresh enterprise DK Energy Ltd and since then they have delivered Hundreds of barrels in crude oil to entities and, they began the construction of an Ultra-Modern Gas station. The DK Investments Ltd. Has funded various ideas and invested in a series of businesses, stocks and basic investments.

Dekunle is also a top-level Executive at JOFEC Group, a multinational business into Oil & Gas, Construction, Commodity Export and Hospitality. And was at one point the largest exporter of quality cocoa from Nigeria.
