To reposition the club for greater success, Delta Queens has formally parted ways with their Technical Adviser, Samara Keshi, with immediate effect.
In his place, Maureen Eke, a former player of the team, is to step in pending the appointment of a new coach.
According to a press release signed by the Director of Publicity, Delta Queens, Franca Okomah, the sack was with immediate effect.
It would be recalled that the team lost by a lone goal to lowly rated Abia Angels at the Stephen Keshi Stadium on Tuesday.
“Delta Queens have 10 points from seven games, occupying 6th position in a group which they ought to be leading,” Okomah said.
Meanwhile, Delta Queens will next week face Remo Stars away.
This sack, according to the club management, was to reposition the club for optimum performance.
