Today marks the retirement of DCM Hyginus Uche Omeje from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) after 34 years of meritorious service. The occasion also coincides with his 60th birthday.
DCM Omeje joined the FRSC in 1992 and has served in several strategic capacities where he demonstrated exceptional professionalism, dedication, leadership, and commitment to duty throughout his distinguished career.
Over the years, he attended various national and international trainings and held key positions including Unit Commander (Lagos Island), Sector Commander (Anambra), Sector Commander (Lagos), Zonal Commanding Officer (Ilorin), Zonal Commanding Officer (Oshogbo), Assistant Corps Marshal (Federal Operations), Assistant Corps Marshal (Operations), and most recently, Deputy Corps Marshal (Operations).
A pulling-out ceremony is being held in his honour today at the FRSC National Headquarters, Abuja. Colleagues, subordinates and friends have poured in accolades, describing him as a disciplined officer whose contributions have significantly strengthened and positively impacted the operations of the FRSC nationwide.
As DCM Omeje formally bows out of active service today, the Corps celebrates a career defined by professionalism, loyalty and commitment, and also wishes him well as he looks forward to pursuing other personal interests while continuing to contribute to society.
