Veteran music producer and executive, ID Cabasa, has encouraged Christian creatives to stop avoiding the secular music industry because of claims that it is “ungodly.”
The Coded Tunes boss dismissed such ideas as lies meant to keep Christians out of the mainstream music scene. He argued that the devil does not own the secular space, as many people believe.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page on Friday, Cabasa told Christian artists to pay attention and take their place in the industry.
“There’s an agenda to dissuade you from taking that space with a lie that the devil owns that space! The devil owns sin and carnality, yes. But the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof,” he wrote.
Cabasa urged talented believers to embrace the music industry, explaining that evil only wins when there is a lack of light. He assured them that their positive influence would always be stronger than any darkness they might find in the industry.
“Their evil cannot trump your light,” he added.
